gentle/pre-natal classes This class is appropriate for anyone interested in a gentle yoga practice. The class focuses on building strength, increasing breath flow, and encouraging flexibility in the hips and legs, especially. We start slowly, build some heat through a series of standing poses, and then use that heat to work in more passive flexibility poses. Students with physical challenges such as arthritis, fibromayalgia, or MS are welcome to explore yoga in a safe and welcoming environment. It is also a safe place for pregnant woman to practice and develop strength, flexibility, serenity and community. Our intention is to provide women at this amazing stage of life with such a space, while also offering the basic tools for a home practice or yoga class. Bhava prenatal classes serve women through all stages of pregnancy with a full and complete class that is both energetic and relaxing.
